Ponteland’s free community magazine.
Published by the Town Council, it is circulated monthly to 5,000 homes and businesses throughout the parish area, including Ponteland, Darras Hall, Medburn, Milbourne, Prestwick and Kirkley.
A not-for-profit magazine whose costs are met entirely through advertising revenue, it was first launched in October 2005 to replace the outgoing Neighbourhood Watch newsletter and a quarterly newsletter issued by the former Parish Council.
It has now grown into a popular publication where local clubs, groups, churches, community venues, schools and other local organisations, as well as businesses, can promote themselves and where readers can share their views on the many issues of the day affecting the area.
If you would like to put forward editorial items for consideration or wish to advertise, please contact pontnews@cian-pr.co.uk or call Editor Chris Jennings on 07954 157939. You can also download the ratecard for details on advertising rates and deadline dates.
