West Ward Councillor
Adam has been a resident of Ponteland for the past seven years and believes passionately in serving and improving the local community. He was elected to Ponteland Town Council in May 2013 and sits on the Bus Users Group, anti-fly tipping group and the Accounts Committee of the Town Council. Adam’s professional background is in business; working as a project manager of a translation and interpreting firm in Northumberland. As an environmental activist, he is a strong advocate for preserving the environment and in particular the Green Belt area surrounding Ponteland. As the youngest member of the council, Adam is committed to providing a strong voice for young local residents as well as fighting to better public services within the community. He is particularly keen to improve roads and footpaths in and around Ponteland and Darras Hall. Adam used to compete internationally as an acrobatic gymnast and enjoys bouldering in his spare time.
