Ponteland Town Council owns and manages the allotments site at Prestwick. These are located on both sides of the road on the road out of Prestwick towards Dinnington.

There are currently 24 allotment plots, and all are let at present. There are three sizes of plots and the annual charges are £38, £43 and £48. The fees are reviewed annually by the Town Council and invoices for the year are sent out each April.

All tenants must sign an allotment agreement before taking up a plot.

This is an example of a typical tenancy agreement. Tenancy Agreement 2020

There is no water provision on the plots however, the Council will provide one water butt per plot free of charge on request.

There is currently a waiting list for the allotments and to be eligible to be added to the list, you must live in the Ponteland parish area and provide your email address, phone number and home address to Mrs K Mavin, Clerk to the Council at k.mavin@ponteland-tc.gov.uk
