MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING 24 MARCH 2015

1. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

A list of planning applications received since the previous Committee meeting had been circulated

The Committee made no comments about the 6 applications considered.

14/03757/FUL: 81 Dunsgreen, Ponteland NE20 9EJ – Proposed garage extension and two storey over existing garage planting new hedge and boundary fence

An e-mail had been received from Anthony Ridley (45 Dunsgreen) making comments about the fence height and objecting to the edge being finished with bark chipping and a retaining boundary of planking.
Mr Ridley had been advised that his comments had been passed on to NCC Planning Department.

2.4 DECISION 15/00206/FUL: 39 Middle Drive, Darras Hall, Ponteland NE20 9DN – Proposed new roof (7m high) to form first floor with dormer windows. Demolition of existing single garage and carport and construction of new detached double garage.
Permission granted under delegated powers on 17 March 2015.

Appeal allowed and planning permission granted on 17 March 2015 (refused 26 March 2014).

Appeal allowed and planning permission granted on 12 March 2015 (refused 7 November 2014).
The Committee’s objection (7 October 2014) had remained unchanged and had gone forward with NCC’s submission.
