The main decision making body of Ponteland Town Council is the full council meeting held on the second Wednesday of each month at the council headquarters.
Here decisions are made on expenditure on the main work programme, grant applications, tenders and quotations, on recommendations from working parties and on responses to consultations.
Notices of Town Council meetings are displayed in parish notice boards with a copy of the agenda one week in advance.
Agendas and minutes are also available in this area of the council website via the page links.
A report of the previous monthly Town Council meeting’s minutes is also included in each issue of Pont News & Views.
Town Council meetings are open to the public.
